Our commitment

Access is the whole point of Beyond The Sidelines Foundation, and that includes access to this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks and a skip link.
• Every function available with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
• Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text; information is never conveyed by color alone.
• Text that can be resized to 200% without loss of content; a layout designed for phones, tablets and desktops.
• Reduced-motion preferences respected; no auto-playing audio or video.
• Content available in 15 languages, including right-to-left support for Arabic, with fonts chosen for each script.
• Form fields with visible labels and clear error messages.

Known limitations

Third-party components embedded on the site — the donation form and any videos — are controlled by their providers and may not fully meet our standard. We choose providers with accessibility commitments and will pass on any problems you report.
